Snow Day

We took Isaiah outside a couple of times yesterday to experience the snow. First thing in the morning, he wasn't so sure about it- he just had a puzzled look on his face the whole time and wouldn't move much. And yes, he only has one mitten on. We can't find the other and we knew we weren't going to be out long!

Daddy trying to get Isaiah to help shovel the walk. Isaiah stood there and looked at him like he was crazy.

Mid morning it started to snow, so Isaiah enjoyed watching it from the window.

So after lunch we bundled up again and headed back out. Still can't find the mitten so we used a sock. Note- there are baggies over his hands and feet, under his mittens and shoes, to help keep those little parts dry.

Once again, he was unsure of the all this new stuff covering the ground and his feet.

We put in out in the yard where the snow was higher- still not sure.

Daddy and Isaiah made snow angels.

And then snow balls.

Now he is starting to have fun.

He began to be more adventerous and explore more of the yard.

We stayed out for about 25 minutes and then went in and warmed by the "fire" (space heater!). It was a lot of fun but I think we are all ready for spring to come and stay :)
