MAIL :)

Isaiah got a fun package in the mail yesterday from Grammy and Papa!!! My dad made him some wooden dinosaur puzzles that we are going to use for "fossil hunting" for his birthday in a couple of weeks. They will be even cuter once I get them painted, but none the less Isaiah was super excited to get them and he loves them!!!!

Labor Day

On the Saturday of Labor Day weekend, we rode the MARTA into Atlanta and spent the day among the crowds :)

First we went to the DragonCon parade. This is a parade for all those sci-fi nuts to dress up in costumes and have a great time. It was a lot of fun!!!! (We didn't have the best viewing spot so I didn't get the best pictures, but I think you get the idea)

After the parade was over we walked in the crowd down Peachtree Street and headed to Cenntenial Park for ESPN College Game Day!
Adam enjoyed seeing the sportscasters do the show that is seen on TV.

There were activities for kids from Home Depot - Isaiah got to make a football stand and paint a poster.

(and yes he isn't smiling in most pictures of the day - he was in a mood for some reason!)

And as we left the park to head to the Aquarium, we saw the car and the bus!

Let me just say: I was exhausted by the time we got home. We did a ton of walking!!!! But, it was worth it to have a fun day out with my boys :)

Bringing the Beach Home

I found this sand on a clearance at Michaels and thought it would be a fun sensory item for Isaiah - especially since he loved playing in the sand at the beach! It is already moist so you don't have to add water to help it pack and it supposedly will stay moist for a while.

Well, let me just say, it is the best 3 bucks I've spent in a while!!!

Isaiah loves it!!!!
