Magic Kingdom

(part three- shows and parades)

Here is the castle again - just 'cause I love it :)

We took a break in the afternoon to watch Dream Along with Mickey. It was great- lots of music and characters!

Then we watched the Celebration Parade.

After more fun and rides in the afternoon, we ended the day with the Fireworks display and the Electric Parade.

12 long hours of non-stop fun!!! He crashed on the shuttle and didn't stir until the next morning :)

(part two - characters)

In between all the rides, we saw many characters. I had made Isaiah an autograph book and he loved getting the signatures and pictures with all his favorites!!!

While the boys went on a few of the rides, I got some autographs.

Disney Adventure II

Magic Kingdom!!

(part one- rides)

We were up bright and early, quickly got ready, and loaded onto the shuttle. Walking through the entrance, we were immediately caught up in all the hustle and bustle. And there it was -- Cinderella's Castle, just begging for photos to be taken of it!!!

Isaiah wasn't too "smiley" to begin with up he quickly warmed up :)

Our first stop was the Flying Dumbo ride!!!

Next stop was Toontown. We all rode Peter Pan, then the boys rode a rollercoaster and the Tea Cups.

We then headed to the ride that Isaiah was most excited about - Buzz Lightyear. We loaded up in our cars and then tried to get points by shooting the targets and taking out Zurg. We ended up doing this ride twice :)

Our final ride of the day was Aladdin's Magic Carpets (similar to Dumbo).

Disney Adventure I

Welcome to Orlando

We arrived in Florida Friday evening. We went to Downtown Disney to do a bit of exploring and shopping before hitting the Magic Kingdom the next day.

Isaiah's favorite place was the huge Lego Store!



Disney Trivia

While I get all of our pictures ready to post :)  I thought some Disney Trivia might tide you over!!

~ Walt Disney World in Florida spans 42 square miles.

~When Walt Disney began buying land in Florida, he got some acres for as low as $1/acre. He used dummy corporations so people wouldn't know it was him buying up all the land.

~ When WDW Florida opened in 1971 there were only 5000 employees. Now there are over 60,000.

~ The parking lot at Magic Kingdom holds 20,800 cars. Around Christmas it will be completely full by 10:00am.

~ The Epcot Ball weighs 16 million pounds.

~ To use the Ball as a golf ball, you need to be a mile tall.

~ 50 million drinks are sold each year in the parks. At an average of $3.00 a beverage...you do the math!

Setting up Baby Girl's Room

We spent all weekend rearranging rooms and furniture so we could start setting up stuff for Baby!!!

When Isaiah heard we were going to do some "building", he got all decked out in his apron and grabbed his tools so he could help Daddy. First on the list was a shelving unit.

(don't you just love the tongue out in concentration!)

He was so proud of the finished product! He even went and found some baby toys to put on the shelves so Sister can have things to play with :)

Next up -- the crib! This turned into a two day project :)

I love that Isaiah loves to do things with his Daddy. It is so sweet to watch him imitate and learn.

And here is a sneak peak at the items in the room. We still have more to do but this will give you an idea :)

We are excited for her arrival. Six weeks from tomorrow!!!!
