As most of you know, a week and a half ago Atlanta got hit by a major snow and ice storm!!!! The snow started falling about 8pm on Sunday...
...and we woke up to 5 inches on the ground.
The rest of the day on Monday we had freezing rain and drizzle that produced about 1/2 inch on ice on top of the snow. Everything was cancelled and shut down while road crews worked diligently to clear the highways. But due to the fact that this happens around here every 10 years or so, they just didn't have the equipment or man power needed. As the week went on and things refroze, the roads got worse before they were better. School was out all week. Adam was off Monday and Tuesday. Things were pretty messy most of the week.
But we had fun in the snow that first day!!!
The kids in the neighborhood enjoyed sledding down the big hill on our street.
Adam and Isaiah experimented with going down our driveway.
Isaiah wasn't a huge fan...
...so they mostly threw snowballs.
