Weekend "Surprise" Visitors

We had a house full for the last few days!!!! Tiffany and Lucas came in on Thursday evening and my folks came in on Saturday; they all stayed until Monday evening! We had a blast :)  Here are a few pictures from the weekend.

At Texas RoadHouse for lunch.

Playing playdough

Right before they left to go back home.

Visistors are always welcome!!!!

Birthday Party

We had a "roaring" good time on Saturday at Isaiah's dinosaur party!!!!

He started his day out by opening his gifts from us.

Then it was off to the airport to get Grammy and Papa!

Isaiah helped Daddy set up the dino fossil hunt.

Cake made by mommy and decorated by daddy.

The party guests began by decorating hats to wear on the fossil hunt.

Isn't that a cute bunch of kiddos :)

Even Lucas got one!

Then off the went... first to the leaf pile for the first piece of their puzzle. Then to the hay pile for the second piece. Finally to the sand for the third piece.

Then once their dinosaur was put together, they got their goody bag.

We went inside for cake and ice cream and presents!

And after it was all over, it was play time (of course)!!

On a side note: I think it is neat that his 3rd birthday post is my 300th post!

Happy 3rd Birthday, Isaiah!!

I feel bad that I didn't do any posts on Saturday, Isaiah's actual birthday!!! But with all the craziness of the weekend, time just got away from me.

Isaiah is an amazing person, full of energy and laughter and curiousity.

He has the sweetest smile and loves to give hugs and kisses.

He is helpful and generous.

He talks my ear off about dinosaurs and Buzz and trains.

I love to watch him grow and change each day. He is such a blessing!!!

Pumpkin Patch

Friday morning we went to the Pumpkin Patch for a MOPS Playgroup! It was a beautiful day, ful of lots of sunshine and laughing children!

We started off taking a hayride to the many activities.

Tiffany and Lucas surprised us by arriving the night before so they got to come along for the fun. Lucas did great!! Loved being outside :)

First stop was the petting zoo.

Even Lucas got to pet a baby goat.

While the kids played on the slides, Lucas and I hung out.

Next stop was the jumping pillow - a highlight for all the kids and us adults too!

Then it was time to get our pumpkins.

A few final pictures before heading for home!

To Infinity and Beyond....

As part of his birthday celebration ( I can't believe he will be three on Saturday!!!), we took Isaiah to see Disney on Ice Toy Story 3. And let me just say, he loved it!! It was neat watching him be so excited about the whole show.

We borrowed a Buzz costume for Halloween and he was thrilled when I told him he could wear it to the show as well! People on the subway and at McDonalds came up to Isaiah and talked to him, gushing about how cute "Buzz" was!

The costumes of all the characters were great and super cute.

He did great- sat through the entire thing, clapped and waved, and just had a blast :)

Overall, the evening was a success! Now time to get ready for his party on Saturday :)
