Hollywood Studios
(part one)
When we arrived, we made a bee-line for the Toy Story mania ride. But by the time we got back there, the line was already too long for us to want to wait in. So we got a "fast pass" (which is a time stamped ticket that allowed us to come back at a designated time and get right in) and headed off to other things.
We watched Mickey's Playhouse Show. This was probably Isaiah's favorite. It had his favorite characters in it as well as it was interactive for little kids.
We also watched Little Mermaid, a show full of puppets and actors. It was a condensed version of the movie. The neat thing about this show was the way the lights reflected on the walls and ceiling, it made you feel like you were in a fish bowl :) Unfortunately all pictures turned out blurry.
We went through a display of memorabilia from Chronicles of Narnia as well as watched a short film on the creation of the film. Very cool for us, not so much for a 3yr old!!
We toured through a building dedicated to the art of animation. Isaiah was able to use different computers to make pictures and sounds, like those in the movies. We also did this fun thing that by answering a few questions it told us what character we are most like.
The funny thing was, Adam accidently hit the button for girl instead of boy, so at first Isaiah was most like Cinderella!!!
The second time he was like Tarzan :)
Other shows we saw were the Indiana Jones one and the Backlot Tour. Both of these shows were behind the scenes look at how movies were made. I didn't take many pictures but here are a couple.
Next post - more rides and characters!
