Animal Kingdom
(part two)
Our first ride of the day was a Safari. We loaded on this jeep and set out to explore Africa. Our driver was a lot of fun and we saw some neat animals. Some even pretty up close!
The shows we watched that day were great (though the pictures are not!)
First up was The Festival of the Lion King. Amazing costumes, music, and animitronics!! Isaiah wasn't "into" the show that much but I loved it :)
W also saw Finding Nemo the Musical. The show was all puppets telling the story through song. It too was a blast and so well done!!
This parade was a lot of fun because it was full of very creative and unique floats.
(note- did you know that Minnie Mouse has a wardrobe of over 200 outfits!!! She is so cute!!)
We ended our time at Animal Kingdom by letting Isaiah explore Dino Land. This was a huge maze/jungle gym full of fossils and neat dino things!
Then he and Daddy rode the Triceratop Spin for a second time (I rode with the the first time). Isaiah loved it because Adam let him sit in a seat all be himself. It is a good thing Mommy was shopping and didn't know about this until after the fact :)
I have cute pictures of him on the ride but they won't upload!!!!!!!!!! Don't know why!!!!!!!
We then "park hopped" and caught the night show at Hollywood Studios "Fantasmic". It was the only time we would see the show while we were in town, so though Isaiah was beat and took a nap on the way to the other park, we still went. And it was worth it!!! Lights, water and fire effects, lots of characters and music, and ending with great fireworks. Super fun!!
