Happy First Birthday!!!

One year ago the most precious pink bundle as laid in our arms.

The countdown was complete and Tora Joy arrived at 3:07pm on Thursday, March 3rd, 2011!

An adorable 8 pounds 3 onuces, 20 1/2 inches long

At first Big Brother wasn't too sure of Little Sister :) He was pretty shy and quiet on that first night; but he quickly warmed up and they have become the best of friends!

We spent three days in the hospital just snuggling and cuddling our daughter - then it was time to go home to do that some more!!

And now, here we are, one year later! She still loves to snuggle and cuddle in between the crawling and chasing and playing and laughing!

Kennesaw Mountain

Kennesaw Mountain was one of the battlefields of the Civil War as General Sherman marched to Atlanta. It is now a national park with hiking trails that follow the paths the soldiers took. There are even some cannons and earthworks that were originally used. Yesterday we went exploring and enjoyed some fall colors!
We started with a picnic.
Then went to the top of the mountain. You can see all the way to downtown and to Stone Mountain. Isaiah loved climbing on all the rocks.

Pumpkins and More Pumpkins!

The weather was beautiful all weekend and we got out and enjoyed it! Saturday we went to the Stone Mountain Pumpkin Festival.

Isaiah decorated a pumpkin scarecrow

They have a lot of pumpkin people dressed up all over the park - this is our favorite!

After we got home we had pizza with cobweb cheesey bread!
