Isaiah really enjoys doing arts and crafts. Whether it is using our new window crayons or just cutting and pasting, he has fun :)

Grandma Nola Visit: Part 2
On Sunday we went and explored the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. I had been wanting to go for a while now, and when I came across half-priced tickets, I figured now was a good time!
They have a neat canopy walk - like walking through the tree tops
Isaiah leading the way!
There is a fun Children's Garden with neat sculptures and things to climb on.
My favorite place was the orchid greenhouses!
There were fun fountains in addition to all the beautiful flowers.
It was a fun day with Grandma!
And you probably noticed there aren't any flower pictures. Believe me, I have a ton of them, but thought I would post them later :)
Grandma Nola Visit: Part 1
Adam's mom came this last week and we had many adventures and fun times while she was here. The first few days, we headed to Hilton Head, SC to spend some time at the beach!
Once again, Isaiah loved playing in the sand!!! There was a puddle not too far from where we were sitting- he went back and forth the whole time, filling his bucket with water :)
He and Adam found a fort some other kids had built and they had a great time playing in it!
But he also go more adventurous and played more in the water as well. The second day we were there, the tide was coming in so the waves were a lot of fun!
On a side note: a couple of jellyfish washed up on the beach - cool but a bit unnerving as well :)
We found a Children's Musuem on the island, so one afternoon we went there and let Isaiah explore many possible occupations.
Racecar Driver
Captain
Pilot
Rock Climber
Construction Worker
Mermaid????? Maybe not :)
Free Musuem Day
A couple weeks ago we were able to go to the Tellus Science Musuem in Cartersville, GA for free, so we made the trip. It was a neat musuem, full of many of the things Isaiah is "in-to" right now as well as lots of interactive activities.
To begin with, there were dinosaurs!!!! Right now one of our favs :)
A whole hands-on area for kids to explore
Then we got to pan for gems and hunt for fossils!!!
I think it all was a hit!!!!
