Walk for MS

As some of you may know, my mom was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis last summer. Due to this, many things in her life and in all of our lives have changed. But she is a fighter and is handling all of this with strength and dignity. My family and I joined the Walk for MS today, showing our support and love for our mom and all of those affected by this disease.



Here is our team, ready to begin.


There were close to 1000 people out for the day. It was chilly to begin but warmed up when we started walking. The hardest part was battling the wind!


We walked approximately 1 1/2 miles.




Afterwards, we enjoyed a yummy BBQ and then went home for naps! Oh, and I won a door prize! This is so exciting because I usually never win anything so I am pumped. My niece McKynzi also won a prize but that is not surprising because this 7 year old wins stuff all the time :)
