M&M Trip: Day 1

Wednesday was an eventful day - since Tiffany was only going to be in town on that day we wanted to pack a lot in! First thing in the morning we headed to the aquarium. The girls loved it! Isaiah had fun showing them his favorite places and fish. Adam met us there part way through the morning so we all could enjoy the experience.

After the aquarium, we headed to lunch at The Varsity - though we were all so hungry I didn't take the time to snap any pictures :)

After dropping Adam back off at work, the rest of us headed to play in the fountains.

To say we were all exhausted when we got home would be an understatement -- but it was worth it. I love being able to share these adventures and experiences with the girls.

More to come during this two week stay!!!!!

New Arrivals

Our nieces, McKynzi and MiKayla are here for two weeks!!!!

Boat Rides

Stone Mountain also has a couple of attractions on the lake that are only open in summer so we tried them out this weekend.
First we went on a boat ride...

Isaiah was less than thrilled to put on the lifejacket

But Daddy finally got a smile out of him

And by the end of the ride, he looked like he fit right in!

Then we all put on life jackets and headed out in a paddle boat
Needless to say, after all of this, we were all hot, tired, and hungry!!! But it was fun to be out on the water. I am sure we will go back again :)

Dinosaur Train

This is one of Isaiah's favorite shows right now, so we were excited when one of the new exhibits/shows at Stone Mountain this summer is the Dinosaur Train Craft Shack.

We made a dinosaur puppet

Went hunting for fossils

Colored on a big wall mural

And watched an episode of the show
