Air Show

We went to an Air Show on Saturday. Though it was hot, there was a bit of breeze so it wasn't too bad. And I was the only one that got a little pink :) They had a lot of neat things for the kids to explore - note: Isaiah fell down as we were walking from the parking lot and thus was in a mood and wouldn't smile at all for the first half of our visit!

Then we got a snowcone and he seemed to perk up after that :)

He even started saying "cheese" though not with much smile!

We stayed for about half of the show, we were all wearing out. So here are the couple of planes we did see doing their tricks.

Memorial Day

We had some friends over on Memorial Day for a cookout. It was a nice evening so the kids played outside for a while.

There was, of course, tons of good food including dessert!!

We then took some pictures on our front steps - and the kids were actually quite willing!

On Saturday we spent the day actually in Atlanta. We first went to the Georgia Aquarium to see the new exhibits that opened this weekend. I couldn't get very good pictures of the penguins or the sea otters, but here are some of the beluga whales.

Then we went across the street to Centennial Olympic Park and let Isaiah play in the fountains. At first we was unsure, but after a few minutes, he had a blast "trying" not to get wet :)

We finished the day by eating at Steak and Shake - where we learned kids eat free on the weekends! So we got dessert!!! :)

Fun with Friends

We are making some good friends and having many fun adventures with them. Here are a few from the last couple of weeks.

I took Isaiah and Ruthie to a place called Imaginations at Play. They had a lot of fun together! Isaiah spent most of his time at the train table, but they did explore the other stations.

We went to Story Time at the library and learned all about pandas! Aren't they so cute :)

Ruthie and her brother Sam came over to play one morning and the kids had a great time being outdoors for a while!
