Aloha

Aunt Erica spent the last week in Hawaii, interviewing for a job. When she came back, she had presents for everyone (that's 'cuz she is so cool!)

She brought the kids Hawaiian outfits!

On Saturday, when we tried the first round of pictures, Isaiah was so not cooperating!

We tried again last night because Tatum was home from spending time with her mom for the summer.

Erica has decided to accept the job and will be leaving some time in the next month as well. Talk about opposite ends of the country!

Atlanta Georgia

We spent another weekend in Atlanta, looking for houses and getting oriented to this BIG city. When we were driving to our hotel from the airport we had a great view of the skyline.

The building with the GP on it will be where Adam works.

We found a cute mini golf place close to our hotel.

Here is the house that we will be renting for the next year. We got a bargain on the deal in comparison to the other homes we looked at this weekend. It is not perfect but has plenty of room for lots of visitors -- and we expected lots of them!!!

I'm pretty pumped about my master bath with whirlpool tub. Just having a second bathroom with be nice.

Outside -- with a deck. The yard both front and back are small and slope quite a bit which hinders a lot of outdoors playing but we think we can manage and there is a park close by.

This transition has been hard, is hard, and will continue to be hard for a while. We ask for your prayers as we take this leap!

I love the Zoo

Everytime we go to the zoo, we either see or do something new/cool. This last week we met Joy and her boys and experienced three new things.

We fed the giraffes.

Isaiah walked right up and fed him the leaves but I was too slow to get the picture.

Next time he wanted me to help.




We rode the boat- something I have never done. Aren't they all adorable in their lifejackets.

Then off to the tiger exhibit.

We saw the tigers up close and doing tricks for their lunch. Very impresive.

We had a great time and left right before the rain :)

Baby Shower

On Monday night we had a fun night out celebrating my friend Laura and her adventure entering motherhood. We met at McAllisters and had supper, spent a long time sharing stories of our ups and downs being a mother, and then lavished Laura with fun gifts for the new little one.

Weekend Trip

A week ago (yes I am behind!) we spent the weekend in Parsons visiting Adam's mom and family. Isaiah and his cousin Marla had a blast together.

Friday started out with swimming at Adam's Aunt Joyce's pool.










That evening some more family came over, sort of a going away thing for us. Adam's cousin Mendy has a 2 1/2 year old Ethan. He joined right in with the cousins and they were all off and running (and jumping).
