Tigers and Friends

On Saturday we went to see the new tiger exhibit at the zoo. We got there first thing in the morning so it was chilly, but there were not many people out yet. We got to see the Grizzly Bear getting a bath (this is when I had to run back out to the car to get the camera).

The Rhinos were having a fight.

We heard the Lion roar. Couldn't get the video turned on fast enough.

And then we finally made it to the tigers.

We then took a break and went shopping. We came back to the zoo to have lunch with our friends Laura and Steve and then walked around some more.

The Penguins were nosy. This picture is not the best, but this little guy was talking up a storm.




Back to the tigers for a final peek before going home exhausted.

And the best part of the day... finding out that Laura and Steve are expecting their first baby, due in November!!! Congrats :)

Bus Rodeo

A week ago last Saturday (I know it has been a while!) Isaiah and I went to watch my dad (Papa) at his Bus Rodeo. The school districs have a competition for bus drivers where they have to complete an obstacle course in their bus. They get scored and the winners get prizes. My dad has been competing for a few years and it is fun to go and cheer him on.

New Chair

I picked Isaiah up this chair today. He seems to enjoy having a place to sit that is just his size.

Tennis Champs

We went to the park to play tennis this afternoon with some friends.

Bowling

We went out bowling this evening. It was Dad, Erica, Adam, Isaiah, Tiffany, Luke, McKynzi, MiKayla, Corey (Tiffany's brother-n-law), and myself. Quite a bunch! We had a lot of fun though my arm and knees are sore from helping the little ones bowl.

It took him a little to understand what was going on as this was his first time to the bowling alley, but after a bit Isaiah really got into it.

He also liked to explore and of course push buttons (real ones and those of his mommy and daddy).

Popsicle Treat

I am sure Isaiah has tasted popsicles before, but this was his first whole one, that he held by himself.

He understands and can say "hot"- evidenced by touching the oven and saying it is hot even when it is not. Or blowing on his food no matter what it is. But now we are learning about "cold". In the video he says it so cute :)
